    観光客の多くは駐車場が整備されている仙娥滝付近を中心に訪れ、多くの観光客で賑わうが、自家用車で観光に訪れる者も多く、紅葉が見られる観光シーズンの11月の土日は、周辺の道路が渋滞するほど賑わう。そのため、公共(県営)駐車場もあり、観光施設や土産物店にも駐車場が併設されている。施設店舗を利用すれば無料のところがあります。
    昇仙峡は、山梨県甲府市、甲府盆地北側、荒川上流に位置する渓谷です。覚円峰と呼ばれる180mの大岩があり、ツツジ(3月下旬)や紅葉(10月下旬~11月下旬)の時期は特に足を運んでみたい観光地です。
    昇仙峡の正式名称は「御岳昇仙峡」と言い、古くは日本百名山の一座、金峰山信仰の参道口として発展してきた歴史があります
    昇仙峽(日语:しょうせんきょう)是位在山梨縣甲府市甲府盆地北側、富士川的支流荒川上游的一条溪谷。1923年(大正12年)被指定為國指定名勝、1953年(昭和28年)昇格為特別名勝。正式名稱是御嶽昇仙峡(みたけしょうせんきょう),一般多以新字體寫作御岳昇仙峡。屬於秩父多摩甲斐國立公園,也是此公園具代表性的名勝。名列日本二十五勝、平成之名水百選等。

    Shosenkyo is a valley located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, on the north side of the Kofu Basin, upstream of the Arakawa River. There is a 180m-high rock called Kakuenbo, and it is a tourist spot that is especially worth visiting during the azalea season (late March) and autumn leaves season (late October to late November).
    Shosenkyo's official name is Mitake Shosenkyo, and it has a history of being developed as the entrance to the approach to Kinpusan, one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan.
    Shosenkyo (Japanese: Shosenkyo) is located on the north side of the Kofu Basin in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, in a single valley on the Arakawa River, a tributary of the Fuji River. It was designated as a nationally designated place of scenic beauty in 1923 (Taisho 12), and was promoted to a special place of scenic beauty in 1953 (Showa 28). Its official name is Mitake Shosenkyo, and it is often written in new characters as Mitake Shosenkyo. It belongs to Chichibu Tama Kai National Park, and is also a representative place of scenic beauty of this park. Listed among Japan's 25 most famous waters and 100 best waters of the Heisei era.
